These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Self Tape Studio (“the Service”), operated by Urvashi Corp, doing business as Self Tape Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Self Tape Studio is a web-based tool that allows actors to record self-tape auditions using AI-generated reader voices. The Service includes scene uploading, AI reader voice selection, audio/video recording, post-production editing, and file download.
You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
The Service may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue through the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
You retain all rights to the audio, video, and text content you create using the Service (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content for training AI models.
The reader voices in the Service are generated using third-party AI text-to-speech technology. These voices are provided for use within the Service only. The AI-generated audio is included in your downloaded recordings and may be used in your audition submissions. You may not extract, redistribute, or resell the AI voice audio separately from your self-tape recordings.
You agree not to use the Service to: upload or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; use the Service for any purpose other than creating self-tape auditions and related acting work; or interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated voices will meet any specific quality standard. We are not responsible for casting decisions or audition outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urvashi Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
